Challenges

Oasis is an outdoor activity table. Created in collaboration with Nathan’s teams and preschool teachers, we developed the entire furniture unit to integrate into a broader collection.

Designed for preschool children, this table offers several functional features for play, discovery, experimentation, and gathering around outdoor activities. Made from solid wood in Europe, it is easy to assemble and can be configured based on the arrangement of surrounding elements.

Solutions

Our role was to integrate this new piece of furniture into an existing collection of modules while providing optimal ergonomics and sizing for outdoor class activities. The form and functions were validated through testing and use-case scenarios to strike the perfect balance between manufacturing, purchase price, and usability.
